Conny Czymoch is an independent international moderator and journalist.
She has been engaged in conference moderation for the European Union, the OECD, German ministries, blue chip corporations, associations, and non-profit organisations for more than two decades, covering a host of global topics.
Topics such as global goals (by 2030), sustainability, international relations, economic and labour issues, supply chains as well as resource efficiency, food and agriculture, climate change, digitization in all walks of business and life, mobility, and social responsibility are at the core of her interests and competence. She frequently moderated at the GFFA, Berlin, for Agricultural and Farmers Associations, for the Ministries for Economic Cooperation as well as for the Ministry for Agriculture, as well as the Future Food, always on diverse aspects of how to feed the world.
For fourteen years until 2011, she worked as anchorwoman for the German political television channel Phoenix. Before that, she was reporter and moderator for Deutsche Welle tv, Deutschlandfunk, WDR, and RTHK (Hong Kong).
Conny is also a media coach for top management – with customers from DAX30 companies as well as international NGOs.
Equal working languages are German and English, conversational French on stage.
Lesley is the Executive Director of the Partnership for Child Development (PCD), Imperial College London. PCD is recognised internationally for its focus on quality science and building the evidence base around effective, sustainable and scalable school health and nutrition interventions in low- and middle-income countries. Working in partnership with governments and global partners, PCD provides the needed technical assistance to enable scale up of nationally owned school health and nutrition (SHN) programmes, so as to facilitate sustainable health interventions are delivered to millions of children around the world.
Grounded in strong scientific and practical experience, Lesley’s work has influenced both UN strategy and government plans to establish the school as a scalable and sustainable platform for the delivery of simple health services to children and the wider community. She was a key member of the UN joint taskforce to develop an action framework that laid out the principles of good practice for effective policy and programming: Focusing Resources on Effective School Health (FRESH).
Lesley holds a PhD in Parasitology/Epidemiology and currently acts as Deputy Director of the London Centre for Neglected Tropical Disease Research and continues to maintain her role as Executive Director of PCD.
Karine Silva dos Santos is a federal public servant, more than 10 years, specialist in Management of Educational Programs and Projects of the National Fund for the Development of Education - FNDE, she has performed several functions in the body with prominence in the Presidency of the FNDE in the Directorate of Educational Actions (responsible for the textbook programs, school meals, school transportation and direct money at school) she has been coordinator of the national school meals program for more than 4 years, at FNDE, a federal autarchy linked to the Ministry of Education, responsible for the execution of programs and projects of the Education area across the country. She also served as Director of the Directorate of Articulation and Support for Basic Education Networks (responsible for textbook programs, direct money at school, National Education Plan, Early Childhood Education, Cost of Student Quality, Plan of Goals - PAR) of the Secretary of Education Basic Education of the Ministry of Education.
Robert Jenkins, Chief, Education and Associate Director, Programme Division, UNICEF Headquarters, joined UNICEF in 1995. He brings over 20 years of experience in international development and humanitarian programming in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Jenkins served as the UNICEF Representative, Jordan, from 2014-2019, and Deputy Director, Division of Policy and Strategy in UNICEF Headquarters from 2009-2014.
From 1995-2009, Robert Jenkins served with UNICEF in programme and management positions in Uganda (1995-1997), Bangladesh (1997-2000), Myanmar (2000-2003), India (2003-2006) and Mozambique (2006-2009).
Mr. Jenkins earned a Doctor of Education Degree from the University of Bath and a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Jenkins is married and has a daughter and a son. He is a Canadian citizen.
Daniel Mumuni is the Country Representative of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Ghana since July 2020. He leads a team to deliver flagship programs in health, WASH, agriculture, youth and migration. Before assuming this position, he was CRS’ Chief of Party for the USDA Funded McGovern-Dole Food for Education Program in Sierra Leone and served as the West Africa Regional Director, Imperial College London, Partnership for Child Development. Daniel has dedicated the last 15 years working on programs and partnerships in the US, Europe and Africa.
He brings to the table a background of strategic leadership of multidisciplinary teams, integrated project management, and donor engagement with thematic focus on education, child nutrition, governance, livelihoods, local agriculture and food security. Daniel has developed relationships with key donors (e.g. World Bank, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USDA and USAID), government partners and supported programs to strengthen government and local partner capacity. He applies this experience engaging with the host country government, international and national non-governmental organizations, financial and technical partners, and private sector to his work in Ghana.
Daniel holds a M.Sc. degree in International Development from the University of Amsterdam as well as a Law degree from the VU University, Amsterdam and a Post Graduate certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management from University of California, Berkeley.
